Your first appointment is an important step in your healthcare journey. We recognise that seeing a specialist can sometimes be daunting, and our experienced team is dedicated to ensuring your visit is as comfortable, informative and stress-free as possible.

Before your appointment, we encourage you to review the information on this page to help you prepare and make the most of your consultation.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

Providing adequate notice allows us to offer your appointment to another patient awaiting specialist care. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or appointments not attended, may attract a cancellation fee.

Documents Required

1.    A referral letter stating the reason for consultation. The referral letter is essential to confirm an appointment.

2.    Current Pathology and Radiology.

If you inform us of the details of the pathology provider (NSW Health Pathology, Laverty, Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology or

Australian Clinical Labs), we can get the results sent to us electronically.

3.    A list of current medications, if not already detailed on the referral letter.

Medicare Rebate related Information

1.    A valid referral from a medical practitioner is essential for processing Medicare rebate.

2.    The Medicare rebate can be claimed at our consulting rooms after the consultation. After paying the account, the reimbursement will be transferred to -

·      the account for the EFTPOS card you used to pay

·      the bank account you have registered with Medicare.

·      If you are paying cash, your benefit will be electronically transferred into the bank account you have registered with Medicare.

3.    We do not bulk bill and full payment would be required at the time of the consultation.
